Welcome to the Vivekananda Cultural Association! We are a 22 years old organization which was established in 2002, born as “Yelahanka Bangieo Samiti”. Our esteemed members then decided to register the society under Karnataka Societies of Registration Act, 1960, with the name Vivekananda Cultural Association in 2004.
Our association thrives on celebrating the rich tapestry of Bengali festivals and traditions throughout the year. We serve as a vibrant medium for the Bengali diaspora in the Yelahanka New Town locality, fostering a strong sense of community and cultural heritage. Join us as we come together to honor our roots, celebrate our festivities, and create lasting memories in the heart of Bangalore.

We, a group of Bengalis from across North Bangalore, came together to create a common forum, Vivekananda Cultural Association aka VCA. With our earnest endeavor, we aimed to establish a place where we can meet, enjoy, and spend quality time together. This is a space where we share ideas, have fun, and enjoy a homely atmosphere. It’s a perfect place where we can also cry together and relieve our stress, because we believe that even crying with a friend is far superior to having fun with a stranger.
VCA serves as a cultural hub where we host various cultural events and showcase the hidden talents within our community that have remained unrecognized.
